It would have 5 Stars if I could use the AC mount. All you need to get the job done, thanks ok so I have the HTC Evo 4g and I wanted some kind of car dock to hold it for GPS use. The suction cup for the windshield is nice and heavy duty and doesn't let go in the hot sun the way my Garmin will. The vent clip fits on both my old S70 Volvo and my wife's Audi but isn't quite as tight gripped onto the fins of the vent as I would like.
Now I am left with junk, with the broken piece floating around somewhere inside the vent. Everything else was okay, didn't really use the windshield portion, but the main thing I purchased this for was the Vent Mount which failed. Will have to see how it holds up over time. Rattles when empty and fully open, but squeezing the sides together slightly prevents this I bought this for my iPhone for Honda CRV (2011).
Studies have shown that even just talking hands-free can affect your reaction time, so it's not recommended (and may even be illegal in some places). Dialing out or scrolling through lists of any sort would be even worse. The vent mount swivels nicely to allow for a good viewing angle while attached to either the driver's side or passenger's side central vents of my cars. I have not tried the windshield mount. The vent mount fits better in the 1989 but does just fine in the 2006 model. It fits my Evo snugly with the adjustable spring loaded arms when positioned horizontally or vertically. It does a great job securely holding my HTC Evo and my Samsung Epic both in vertical and horizontal positions. I'm always concerned when buying any item that mounts to the windshield. I didn't see any reviews from people with the D2G, so, if you have one and are wondering. It works fine!
I would not use the dashboard mount as I'm concerned about what the adhesive might do. Otherwise, the grips are padded so your phone is safe and secure. I will update my review as the weeks go by to see how it holds up, but so far so good. It actually makes driving a little bit more enjoyable.

I like the adjustable design so that it works with my iPhone 4 in many different case designs. All the buttons and dock charger are available. I use this with my HTC EVO 4G phone and it works pretty well. No real complaints other than when it is connected to the air vents (2010 Kia Forte); it makes an annoying rattling sound.

The only issue I have had with this is that from time to time I have to readjust the swivel, especially after hitting a few bumps, but this is can be annoying, but is overall a minor issue and hasn't affected my overall experience. COFFEE MACHINE RENTAL.
