Having a Film and Music switch is also a plus. N disappointed with the quality of sound, specifically for the cost.
Sadly, this avoid much at all to dampen outside sound. The Koss headphones hold on far better and are softer for a wireless home stereo system, and wider and more versatile over head. These headphones are perfect for the cost. But based on what you are using them to hear, the sound might be somewhat muffled. Generally very difficult to pick up the difference tho, I essentially leave mine locked into songs mode, cuz that is what they are for and they are fantastic!!!! Basically had the opportunity to do it again, I'd avoid them, however, they were only $24. The merchandise I received has a single, long, 10 foot cord. Hey, I am not making a fashion statement while in my bathrobe at midnight. They are fantastic headphones, fantastic quality of sound, looks awesome, comfy, fits any head, and light weight. Extremely comfortable and the sound is excellent. These headphones oughta cost a maximum of $10. Decent sound I enjoy my new headphones. I've had these headphones for a month and love them.
Normal headphones either trigger feedback (a frustrating whistling sound) from the assistive hearing devices or require that the assistive hearing devices be totally eliminated in order to use the headphones. These headphones don't get extremely loud whatsoever. But if you are looking for "godly" headphones, this isn't it. They're tough to fit these acoustic research wireless headphones in a bag and travel with. Cannot have them fixed as it would are more expensive than a new pair of infrared wireless headphones. The cable duration will go from my surround sound jack to my bed for easy listening during the night when I don't wish to wake anybody.
I basically wanted a headset that will outperform the built-in speakers on my small Samsung LED DLP TV, not really a difficult task. I had no clue how good these where likely to sound.
I usually just use the Sony V150 studio headphones, which I found when I searched "buy headphones online". Cable is also much thinner, and these headphones aren't top end at all. It really works pretty well in my tiny apt bedroom too. That isn't the case with one of these Sony headphones. Forget spending 40+ dollars on headphones specifically intended to be set-aside for music practice, in my opinion they are all you will need!

I suppose I did not read carefully enough prior to searching "buy headphones online", everything's fantastic, but the cord is about ten feet long! They are most likely one of the most comfortable supra-aural infrared wireless headphones available, especially in this budget range.
